ConIsCa — isoSPI to CAN Converter

A compact, galvanically isolated bridge between isoSPI cell-monitoring controllers (CMC) and a classic CAN bus.

PRODUCT · BMS / CMC INTERFACE

What ConIsCa Does

ConIsCa acts as the isoSPI master toward the cell-monitoring controllers and performs CAN-based command & data conversion: CAN commands flow from the host controller to the cells, and converted CMC measurement data flows back to the CAN bus.

ConIsCa block diagram: an isoSPI master converts cell-monitoring (CMC) data onto a classic CAN bus up to 1 Mbit/s. CAN commands flow from the host controller to the cells; converted CMC data flows from the cells to the CAN bus. The galvanic isolation sits next to the isoSPI master, on the cell side.

KEY FEATURES

Built for Battery Monitoring Integration

🔌

isoSPI ↔ CAN Bridge

isoSPI master interface toward the cell-monitoring controllers, converted to a classic CAN bus (up to 1 Mbit/s).

🛡

Galvanic Isolation

Isolated isoSPI link keeps the high-voltage battery side cleanly separated from the CAN host side.

🔁

Command & Data Conversion

CAN-based commands to the cells and converted CMC measurement data (voltages, temperatures) back to CAN.

🔋

16-Cell Modules

Suited for stacked 16-cell battery modules in e-mobility and stationary energy-storage systems.

COMPATIBILITY

Designed to Work With isoSPI Battery Monitors

ConIsCa is designed to interface with isoSPI-based cell-monitoring controllers (CMC) and battery-monitor ICs — including widely used isoSPI battery monitors and isoSPI/SPI bridge devices for 16-cell battery modules.
